Dr. Nicholas Lamar Wright, Ph.D., is a nationally recognized strategist, scholar-practitioner, and trusted advisor who helps organizations build inclusive, accessible, and high-performing cultures where people can thrive. His work sits at the intersection of equity strategy,  organizational culture, leadership development, and systems change. 

With over a decade of experience leading complex initiatives in large, decentralized organizations, Dr. Wright brings a deep understanding of how culture, policy, and people interact. While his professional foundation is in higher education, his expertise translates across sectors, with a focus on strengthening belonging, improving outcomes, and aligning values with practice. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Wright has advised senior leaders, designed enterprise-wide strategies, and led initiatives focused on accessibility, disability equity, diversity and inclusion, mentoring, and leadership development. He has held executive-level roles in which he partnered with cross-functional stakeholders to improve employee engagement, reduce barriers to access, and embed equity into operational decision-making. 

A prolific scholar and thought leader, Dr. Wright has authored more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals and books, translating research into actionable insights for leaders and practitioners. His scholarship explores topics such as belonging, multiracial identity, mentoring, accessibility, and disability equity. 

Dr. Wright is an in-demand speaker and facilitator who has delivered over 300  presentations and led more than 200 workshops nationally and internationally. His work supports leaders and teams in moving from intention to implementation, helping organizations build cultures that are not only inclusive but also resilient, accountable, and effective.
